Notes: The procedure was going ahead locally, but the High Court and the commissions sent people out to investigate allegations of torture. The central representatives found evidence of torture (of several kinds), ordered all the suspects released, and cautioned for if new charges were brought. She and Margaret Whytt were released from prison on 3/4/1680.
