Notes: Denounced by Janet Coutts. George Cathie witch pricker involved. Presbytery investigated the case and got commission. After imprisonment and pricking there seems to have been insufficient evidence to pursue the suspects. Bessie Gibson is not recorded as having been released (as most of them were) but it is likely that she was too.
