Case Notes
The presbytery reported that several people were arrested from Dalry due to delation and 'mala fama'. 'They were apprehended by the Judge Ordinary' and were still impenitent [refusing to confess] therefore it is appointed that Mr. Patrick Colville and Mr. W. S. Russel, shall go to Dalry.' They got one person to confess. Because Mr. Robert Bell was unwell, infirm and short of hearing the Presbytery sent Mr. Robert Urie and Mr. James Rowat to exhort the remaining impenitent witches to confess.
