Case Notes
A note in the Tyninghame Kirk Session minutes said that people who cured their beasts of the 'rowting evill' by making a grave and 'earding' or entering 'ane quick beist' in it could be charged with charming and witchcraft. They argue that this practices has been used in Wittinghame and some other parishes.
