Case Notes
Some women in from Brechin were executed. A particularly graphic description of local justice - the women were tried and convicted (although they denied the charges) and 'wes brunt quick efter sic ane crewell maner that sum of thame deit in dispair, renunceand and blasphemeand, and utheris, half brunt, brak out of the fyre and wes cast in quick in it againe quhill thay war brunt to the deid.'
